Wow! That's a nice fish. I have caught many a largemouth in Upper Mystic Lake, but I didn't realize there were smallmouths in the upper lake. Did you happen to notice if Sandy (now Shannon) Beach was open? There was a shigella bacteria contamination in that water last week that foiled my plans to throw the kayak in Saturday.
