7/21/14 - Angry Meat @ Lake Q - Birthday Edition
Got out for 5 hour trip with Vin on Monday afternoon (1pm-6pm). Water looks more terrible than usual! Very muddy, and the ramp had green slime all over it, yuck. Water temps were anywhere from 80-84. Reaction bites were not the key today. Most fish came on pitching creature baits. Although the bite was slow we put together a decent bag. Vin lead the way with 3lb 7oz, a 2lber, a 1lb 14oz, a 1-1/2lber, and a couple 1lbers. I finished out that limit with a 1lb 10oz, also a couple 1lbers too. About 10-1/2lbs is not bad, much better that working, especially on my Bday!
